The Magic of Santana are Europe's premier Santana show, regularly featuring Original Members of Carlos Santana's band upon request. The Magic of Santana are the first Santana "tribute" band Tony Lindsay and Alex Ligertwood have ever performed with. In 2012 we hosted the first concert in over twenty years where Tony Lindsay and Alex Ligertwood shared a stage together. Alex Ligertwood was Lead Vocalist for Santana from 1979-1994. He has also performed with The Jeff Beck Group, The Senate, Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, the Average White Band, Narada Michael Walden, David Sancious, and others. Tony Lindsay is an 11x Grammy Winner and has been the Lead Vocalist for Santana from 1991-2015. He has worked with Aretha Franklin, Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls, Steve Winwood and Curtis Mayfield, and others. Recorded LIVE at the Maschseefest Löwenbastion, Hannover, Germany, Aug 7th, 2013. Alexander John "Alex" Ligertwood es un cantante, guitarrista y baterista escocés, conocido como el vocalista principal de Santana en la década de 1980. Se le acreditan canciones de Santana como "All I Ever Wanted", "You Know That I Love You", "Winning" y "Hold On". También hizo parte de las bandas The Senate, The Jeff Beck Group y Oblivion Express. Apareció en el proyecto paralelo Go Ahead, iniciado por miembros de Grateful Dead.​

Ligertwood cantó la voz principal de la canción "Crank It Up" de The Dixie Dregs, de su álbum Industry Standard (1982), y contribuyó con la voz principal de la canción "Double Bad" del álbum Jeff Lorber In the Heat of the Night (1984).​ De 1986 a 1988, Ligertwood fue miembro de Go Ahead con Bill Kreutzmann y Brent Mydland.

Durante el año 2000 realizó una gira con World Classic Rockers. Más recientemente cantó en una versión de la canción de Scorpions "Is There Anybody There", que apareció en el álbum solista del baterista Herman Rarebell Acoustic Fever (2013). Tony Lindsay is a vocalist and longest-tenured lead singer of Santana. He first joined the band 1991 and performed with Santana from 1995 to 2015, the group's period of greatest commercial success, during which it released the album Supernatural (1999) and won 11 Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Rock Album.

The Magic of Santana, transmite el espíritu musical de Carlos Santana con una amplia selección de sus canciones favoritas.
